Stacey Myers
Stacey’s lacrosse journey began at Woodside High School, where she first picked up the sport. She went on to play for four years with the UC Davis Club lacrosse team, serving as a starting midfielder and contributing to their National Championship victory in 2012.
After graduating from UC Davis, Stacey returned to Woodside in 2013 to take on the role of Head Coach. When she assumed leadership, the Woodside lacrosse program had struggled, winning only two games in its first nine years as a Varsity program. Under her guidance, however, the program has flourished. Since her arrival, Woodside has captured 7 WBAL Divisional Championships and won the inaugural Division 2 Central Coast Section Championship in 2024.
Stacey's excellence as a coach was recognized in 2022 when she was named the USA Lacrosse Central Coast Section Coach of the Year.
Kevin Miller
Kevin's lacrosse coaching career began in 2013 at Woodside High School, where he joined Coach Stacey on the sidelines. His deep passion for sports and coaching comes from his background as a standout multi-sport athlete and the son of a career high school teacher, baseball coach and football coach.
In addition to his coaching expertise, Kevin has developed a special focus on goalie training. He has played a pivotal role in shaping and mentoring local goalies, consistently producing exceptional talent. Goalies under his training have won WBAL MVP Goalie 6 different times.
Doug Arakawa
Doug Arakawa has been a lacrosse coach for nearly two decades. He spent 11 years coaching at Gunn High School, where he led the team to three SVAL league championships. For the past seven years, Doug has been coaching at St. Francis High School, where his teams have consistently ranked in the top 5 of the Central Coast Section each year.
A Bay Area native, Doug was a multi-sport athlete at Gunn High School before going on to play college baseball at UCSB. Now a retired dentist, Doug has embraced his passion for coaching, dedicating his retirement to mentoring high school lacrosse players and fostering their growth both on and off the field.
